Equipment

  • Measuring Cup
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Freezer Safe Jar with a Lid
  • Small Sauce Pan
  • Mixing Spoon

Ingredients

  • Heavy Whipping Cream-1 cup
  • Earl Grey Tea either 1 1/2 tablespoons lose leaves or 3 tea bags
  • Sugar- 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla Extract- 2 teaspoons
  • Salt- dash of salt
  • Cinnamon optional- dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Start by turning a stove top burner to medium low heat. Add the heavy cream to the pan along with 3 tea bags or about 1 1/2 tablespoons of lose leaf tea. Simmer the heavy cream and tea for about 5 minutes.
  • Next, take the heavy cream off of the stove and strain out the tea leaves if need be. Add the heavy cream to the jar along with the sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon. Let it cool down for a bit. If you put the lid on the jar too soon, the London Fog ice cream mixture will leak while you are shaking the jar.
  • Then, add the lid to the jar and shake, shake, shake for about 5 minutes!
  • Now, put the jar in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until the London Fog Ice Cream is to your desired amount of frozen. And then add your favorites toppings and enjoy!

Notes

I have been able to store mine on the door shelf of the freezer just fine. Additionally, the ice cream should last a few weeks or so or until freezer burnt.
Also, make sure that the container that you store the London Fog Ice Cream in is freezer safe!
